报告摘要:Trend renewal process is a generalization of renewal processes and Poisson processes and is one of the tractable stochastic processes to describe repairable systems behavior. It can be applied to represent the so-called general repair including both major repair (replacement) and minimal repair as the special cases, and enjoys a simple but rich time-inhomogeneous property. In my talk, I quickly overview the trend renewal processes and give the definition and the statistical inference methods which are categorized into parametric and nonparametric estimations. Especially, I focus on the nonparametric maximum likelihood estimation (NPMLE) and the kernel-based estimation which are recently revisited by ourselves as the representative nonparametric schemes. Further, I introduce two application examples of trend renewal processes to a periodic maintenance problem and software reliability assessment.
报告人简介:Tadashi Dohi is a Full Professor in the Department of Information Engineering, Hiroshima University, Japan. His research areas include Reliability Engineering, Software Reliability, Dependable Computing, Performance Evaluation, Computer Security and Operations Research. He published over 500 peer-reviewed papers (235 journal papers and 291 conference papers), 36 book chapters, and 20 book editions/proceedings in the above research area. Dr. Dohi served as the General Chair and Program Committee Member of several international conferences. He is an Associate Editor/Editorial Board Member of IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Journal of Risk and Reliability, Journal of Industrial Engineering, in addition to a dozen other international journals.
